Essentials covers installation and administration of EJBCA. Some important administration steps are creating CAs for authentication, SSL certificates and managing end-entities. Essentials also covers administrator privileges with different administrator groups and differences between CA administrators, RA administrators, Supervisors and Super Administrators.
After attending the Essentials program the participants will be able to install EJBCA and administrate the installation using the admin web interface.
Advanced Administration examines advanced features of EJBCA. Some important steps are performing advanced configuration of EJBCA, and managing advanced features such as the command line interface, publishers, approvals and key recovery. Issuing certificates on smart cards is also included.
After attending the Advanced Administrator program the participants will be confident in maintaining, monitoring and trouble shooting an EJBCA installation, and will also know how EJBCA can be further customized to meet specific customer needs.
The Developer program examines EJBCA development for Java developers. Important features are developing plug-ins for publishers, services and data sources as well as creating custom components integrating with EJBCA. All external interfaces available for developers and users are covered.
After attending the Developer program the developer will be able to create custom plug-ins and third-party components integrating with EJBCA. The developer will also be able to participate in the open development of EJBCA itself.
