With the support from the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and under the patronage from Mrs. Neelie Kroes, Vice-President of the European Commission, the third edition of the National eId & ePassport conference already promises to be a success.
The National eID & ePassport Conference is the new Global Forum on the drivers behind the digitalization of citizen ID documents. With the support of the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and under the patronage of Mrs. Neelie Kroes, Vice-President of the European Commission responsible for the Digital Agenda, this global forum on electronic identification gathers 60 speakers and 300 experts, Ministers, key industrial as well as top-level governmental representatives from over 40 countries.
The agenda includes high profile keynotes, case-oriented panel sessions, energetic networking and integrated exhibition. On the 2011 edition, the conference will continue to focus on the most recent developments and the major international political initiatives in the field of electronic identification and authentication (eID).
