The CESeCore project aims to make the CESeCore Security Core, Common Criteria EAL 4+ certified and publicly available for integration with enterprise applications. Vendors aiming to attain Common Criteria certification can draw significant benefits by using CESeCore, both in terms of implementation of security functions as well as in time and efforts needed for the certification process.
PrimeKey's EJBCA developers already utilize the CESeCore Security Core, working on EJBCA to become the very first Common Criteria EAL 4+ certified open source PKI. This will be an important milestone in the already rich history of the leading open source PKI!
